Ride quality:-
Sitting position is very comfortable here, you have to lean a little forward while driving but its comfortable. Bike seat Cushioning is also improved in this year.
The bike feels very nimble and flicable even with its 179 kgs weight and the Seat height which is increased from 790 mm to 803 mm, So anyone around the height of 5' 8 " can easily ride this bike. It is suited for city as well as long touring. Increased seat height gives the feeling of riding a big bike which was missing in last year editions. We also liked the overall fit and finish of the bike , no panel gaps and good wire management. Everything you touch feels premium and well built. Good Paint job and overall designing of the machine.
Coming to the Engine , the initial pickup is very good. It's more than enough for a city commute. Also the mid range has very good power and torque. You don't need to gear shift very often. The power in top end is also decent not comparable with KTMs although.
Its got good power and torque throught its rev range. No engine heating issues found by us.
We also tested the Top speed of this bike and we found it to be 132 kms/ hr. We also tested the bike mileage and it came out to be 28km Per Litre of fuel efficiency.
Verdict:-
Should You Buy the Triumph Speed 400 MY 2025?
The Triumph Speed 400 MY 2025 is an excellent option if you're seeking a comfortable, stylish, and capable bike for both city commuting and touring. It's particularly appealing for riders who appreciate the brand's legacy, a refined design, and solid performance without the extreme power of some sportier competitors. If you're willing to pay a slight premium over last year's model and you're okay with the slightly increased weight, this bike will not disappoint.
However, if outright performance and top-end speed are your priorities, you might want to explore bikes like the KTM Duke 390, which offer more aggressive power delivery and performance metrics. For a balance of style, comfort, and performance, though, the Speed 400 MY 2025 stands as a strong contender in its class.
